We know that the holidays just ended and you likely saw lots of family over the past two months, but you might already be looking forward to the next gathering. There might be a milestone birthday or anniversary coming up, or a relative might be coming back after studying abroad for the year. Whatever the case may be, nothing brings people together better than good food, and at Moto-i in Minneapolis, our Japanese restaurant is ready to host your next family event.
Celebrating Birthdays and Anniversaries
Your extended family may love getting together to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, but you may not have a space big enough for everyone, especially since the family has grown over the past few years. If you need a large room that fits everyone, then why not consider a private space at a local restaurant? You won’t have to worry about cooking or clean-up, and there will be plenty of tables and chairs for everyone. Our staff would love to talk with you about which of our spaces will work best, and how we can provide traditional Japanese cuisine, sake, and more for your party.
Welcoming Someone Home
When a family member has been gone for a long time or they’ve been studying abroad for a semester, you want to welcome them home in style. You might be planning a party in their honor, and you want to invite as many friends and family members as you can. Perhaps the person who’s coming home loved eating at our restaurant when they lived in the Twin Cities, and it’s the first place they want to go when they get of the plane; or, you simply want to find a spot that’s big enough for everyone on the guest list. Whatever the reason, we’d love to host your welcome-home party. You can also have another gathering before the guest of honor heads out on their next trip!
Weekly Family Dinner
You may not have any milestone birthday and anniversaries coming up in your family, and there might not be anyone who’s living overseas at the moment. However, your family still has a hectic schedule, and it’s rare that you all sit down to have dinner together. Scheduling a weekly family night to go out to dinner can be a great way to stay connected, and you can of course invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, and anyone else who can come. You might have a standing date for lunch every Saturday or Sunday, and it can be a great time to check in with everyone and see how things are going.
If you’re looking for a way (or a reason) to get the entire family together, then let Moto-i help you find the perfect spot. At our Japanese restaurant in Minneapolis, you can find a private space for a party, or you can come in and find a small table where your immediate family can enjoy lunch or dinner together. We’ll make sure you have delicious food and drink for everyone, and that you enjoy your time with each other.
