Everything this summer is going to look a bit different, whether that’s dining on the patio at your favorite Japanese restaurant in Minneapolis or ordering food online for group dinners with friends and family. At moto-i, we know that it will likely be sometime before things feel “normal” again, and one thing you may still be trying to figure out is date night with your significant other. If you haven’t spent quality time with your special someone for several weeks or even months, then hopefully this post will give you some ideas.
Perhaps you and your significant other are maintaining social distance from everyone, including each other, because you live in separate households and want to be as safe and responsible as possible. You’ve communicated through chat, email, and video calls, but you haven’t had a real “date night” in awhile. One solution could be that both of you order your favorite dish from our menu, have it delivered to your front door, and enjoy it over a video date. You’ll both have delicious food to eat, and you won’t have to worry about breaking social distancing or trying to find a place to meet. While the interaction will be a bit different, a video date can be a great way to spend time together.
Enjoy Dinner Outside
Now that the weather is warmer, you may want to venture outside for a date, especially after being in the house for several weeks. While you still want to follow all health and safety guidelines regarding COVID-19, you and your significant other have discussed it, and you’re both okay with meeting outside for a date night. You can order takeout from moto-i on any day of the week, and then enjoy dinner on the front porch, your back deck, or a favorite park.
Come to Our Restaurant
If you feel like having a date night that’s as close to normal as can be, then there is the option of coming to our restaurant for dinner. Our rooftop patio is open for groups of no more than four people, so if you and your special someone want to go on a double date with some friends, and everyone feels safe about it, we can accommodate you. All we ask is that everyone adheres to our safety protocols and that if anyone isn’t feeling well, that you reschedule for another night.
We’re Here for You
At moto-i, we know that date night isn’t going to look as it used to for some time. However, we do want to provide you with options when it comes to spending time with someone you care about. Whether it’s a date night video dinner, a picnic in the park, or an evening on our rooftop patio, we’re here for you. We’re open for dining from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (reservations only), delivery from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and takeout from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
